Jacqueline Fernandez or Shruti Hassan: Whose ruffle game is more strong?

Ruffles and one-shoulder gowns and pantsuits seem to be the hottest trend among Bollywood fashionistas these days. We’ve seen a whole bunch of our A-listers – from Karisma Kapoor to Kriti Sanon – flaunt it recently, and the latest to catch our eye were Jacqueline Fernandez and Shruti Hassan.
Fernandez rarely fails to ace a trend or nail a look, and this time also the actor did not disappoint us. The actor, who appeared on the set of Big Boss recently to promote her upcoming movie, Judwaa 2, set it on fire with her flaming red gown. A deep red, one-shoulder number by Sonaakshi Raaj, with ruffles embedded with deep crimson rubies, looked stunning on her and we think the 32-year-old did full justice to the ensemble.
We love how Anaita Shroff Adajania styled the Judwaa 2 actor with big golden hoops in the ears and black strappy sandals by Manolo Blahnik. More applause for her make-up, which complemented her attire spectacularly. The actor went with a rose-tinted hue on the eyelids and matte pink lips, which subtly added to her sultry vibe. ActressShruti Hassan has had her fingers in a lot of pies recently. From ethnic saris to bubbly dresses, the actor has managed to carry off all her looks with elegance and grace. The actor stepped out recently wearing a wine-coloured jumpsuit with ruffles in the same colour by Dolly J Studio. Though the outfit looked glamorous, the bright and flashy purple of the jumpsuit needed a bit of a visual relief and we think that stylist Shreeja Rajgopal could have done a better job neutralising the overwhelming effect of the outfit with some soothing delicate gold accessories.
Though both the actors carried the drama of ruffles well, we think Fernandez took the cake with her crimson shimmer.
But that’s just us. Let us know who you think wore ruffles better in the comments below.
